Giving Tuesday was initiated in 2012 by Henry Timms at the 92nd Street Y in New York and is always the first Tuesday following Black Friday, which marks the beginning of the holiday shopping season. This year, Giving Tuesday is November 29, 2022 and is a day that encourages all of us to go the extra mile in giving back either through our churches or other non-profits. Here at VCC, we are always giving to the community in many ways through-out the year. However, this year we encourage you to prayerfully consider a special gift on Giving Tuesday that enables us as a congregation to expand our ministry (including increasing our in-person worship services) as well as uplifting the community we serve in even more significant ways.
